The Writer’s Room Workshop is a dynamic, hands-on storytelling experience led by author, screenwriter, and educator Emeka Egbuonu. Designed for young people aged 10–19, the workshop offers a unique blend of creativity and structure — helping participants build characters, craft scenes, and develop their own stories with confidence. Whether students are passionate writers or new to storytelling, the session is tailored to unlock imagination, strengthen writing skills, and boost self-expression in a supportive, engaging environment.
Between April and September 2025, Emeka is offering 24 free workshops exclusively to charities and non-profit organisations that support young people. This initiative is rooted in his belief that every young person deserves the chance to discover the power of their voice. With over 15 years of experience working with youth and a background in both fiction and filmmaking, Emeka brings real-world insight, energy, and inspiration to every session. These workshops are a chance to make storytelling accessible, meaningful, and transformative — one story at a time.
